Description / ExpertiseAnne was the daughter of a large and prominent Jersey family. She married Philip Jean, the artist of this fine portrait.The miniature shows her aged 17, sitting on the harbour wall in St. Helier, holding a miniature of her husband. Their son, Roger, was also a miniaturist. |
