An important pair of George II giltwood open armchairs.The fully upholstered back flanked by carved open arms. The seat with squab cushion all upholstered with emerald green gaufraged silk velvet. The serpentine rails carved with cabochon and acanthus sweeping down into cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet on original castors.
